The Challenge

How do we highlight the struggles that social enterprises face, provide assistance and build awareness for Hong Leong Bank’s CSR platform, HLB Jumpstart.

The Idea

We reached out to social enterprise SURI and partnered them with experts in the fields of finance, branding and advertising, design and volunteerism to empower their business journey with a jumpstart.

The Film

We created a testimonial video featuring SURI’s founder in which she shares her experience on the partnership between SURI and HLB and how its changed her day-to-day business.

The Result

Campaign reached 2.5mil unique audience within 6 weeks with 9.4mil impressions. 1,996,246 views on YouTube, with a 50% view-through rate. Over 120,000 engagements with high number of positive comments on social media. Over RM1.29mil in PR value generated by earned media coverage. SURI has since been featured on multiple nationwide publications, government and ministry events and seminars. Impact for SURI: Successfully generated 520kgs of jeans (approx. 1,000 pairs), which helped SURI to make 2,000+ denim bags, worth >RM100,000.
