Naga DDB Tribal Malaysia (Naga DDB) has promoted its business unit head Kevin Teh as its head of brand management.
Teh, who assumed the role in May, will still be reporting to Naga DDB Tribal Malaysia’s CEO Kristian Lee, who succeeded the agency’s earlier CEO David Mitchell in September last year.
Lee shared with A+M that this is a newly created role, in which Teh will be overseeing the management of a vast number of accounts in the agency including Digi, Hong Leong Bank, Panasonic and PepsiCo.
In addition, he is tasked to promote the agency’s initiatives, enhance the revenue performance and increase new business opportunities for Naga DDB. He will also need to strategise and improve the standards of the agency’s brand management from a talent acquisition and staff training standpoint.
In his previous role, Teh was primarily the business lead for Panasonic and PepsiCo with regards to the daily management of these accounts.
“Teh has proven to be a valuable asset to the agency for the past 10 years during which he has demonstrated a large degree of initiative and resourcefulness which has lead to many positive outcomes for us. We very much looking forward to him doing more of the same in a larger and more varied role to take us to greater heights,” Lee said.
